When you use MeetingRoomMap services (including this admin web site and related add-ins/webparts for Outlook, Teams and SharePoint), you trust us with your information. This Privacy Statement is meant to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
People have different privacy concerns. Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect, so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used. This is important; we hope you will take time to read it carefully.
Information we collect and data storage/retention
MeetingRoomMap stores information at the tenant (Office365) level and not at the user level. At the tenant level a record is created when the application is installed for the first time. The data provided by the tenant administrators (including uploaded maps, room location on maps) are stored in the MeetingRoomMap service.
MeetingRoomMap uses Microsoft Application Insights to store information about usage, requests, errors and general logging. None of this information is stored with the MeetingRoomMap service but entirely in Micrsoft managed service 'Application Insights'.
All data for a tenant are deleted three months after a subscription has been cancelled (or three months after the trial license has expired).
Data for a given tenant can only be accessed with a valid OAuth 2.0 token obtained by logging in with a valid Azure AD user in the specific tenant.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
You have a variety of tools to control cookies, and similar technologies, including browser controls to block and delete cookies and controls from some third-party analytics service providers to opt out of data collection through web beacons.
